A portraiture project for my introductory photography class that consists of self portraits, one of my classmates, and someone close to me outside of class. I was interested in artificial lighting, particularly how lights with complimentary colors can add personality and boldness to portraiture. In some photos, I intentionally captured the the studio lights and equipment because they added a sense of depth to the background that I felt the backdrop alone didn't have.
